Bright and vibrant, a lovely cleanness , so pure, so fine and well worked, generous, appealing but the weight and the texture and the tannic integration is flawless. Round, easy, lovely black and red fruits, great chalky coolness with some minerality and liquorice, graphite tang on the finish. A wine you could drink today but know there’s power underneath. Compelling and a clear buy. Detailed, finessed, refined, balanced and crisp, juicy and charming. Everything you want in a wine.

Couleur sombre, intense et pourpre. Nez très aromatique, fin, fruité, pur, à la fois mûr et frais. Ample dès l'entrée en bouche, fondant au milieu, très aromatique, juteux, sans cesse accompagné par un gras fin, la construction est remarquable. Le vin laisse parler la suavité de son terroir, tout en rebondissant sur des saveurs complexes, fines, parfumées et nobles. C'est génial. Très grande persistance sans angle.

The 2022 Château De Pressac should be terrific. It has a forward, supple, incredibly charming style carrying lots of spicy red fruits, notes of leather, dried herbs, and loamy earth, medium body, plenty of mid-palate depth, and ripe tannins. I love its overall balance, and this is a seriously good 2022 that's going to offer pleasure right out of the gate. (Tasted twice.)

La richesse d’un millésime se voit bien canalisée par une expression fraîche du fruit. Enveloppant l’attaque, il prend un bel élan en cœur de bouche jusqu’à une finale dynamique.

Le premier nez est fermé puis s'ouvre sur la menthe et l'eucalyptus. Ce gage de fraîcheur se confirme en bouche pour un bel équilibre acidité-sucrosité et ce caractère juteux. L'ensemble est une promesse de garde avec une finale sur le bonbon acidulé. Le château de Pressac signe un très beau 2022.

The 2022 de Pressac is dense, rich and explosive. Ripe dark cherry, plum, spice, menthol, licorice and chocolate give the 2022 notable depth and complexity. The tannins are very well balanced for a young Pressac, while floral top notes lift the finish. Tasted two times. - A. Galloni

La subtilité et la fraîcheur sont les éléments-clés du bouquet ! Le fruit aussi, évidemment, dans une mesure filigrane. En bouche le vin annonce une entrée en matière délicate, même élancée. Les tannins se révèlent lentement, pas à pas, pour finalement adopter une attitude conquérante et vigoureuse. L’accord avec la structure acide est idéal et cette dernière soulève la fraîcheur et la minéralité du terroir du plateau calcaire de St-Etienne-de-Lisse. Un grand vin de Château de Pressac ! 2028-2047.

Bright crimson. Quite a broad spread of interesting flavours on the nose. Sweet, almost sickly, start to the palate and some fairly light tannins on the end. Medium persistence. Juicy, transparent but not that dense a wine considering the vintage potential.

Château de Pressac was de plaats van de overgave van de Slag bij Castillon die een einde maakte aan de Honderdjarige Oorlog. Dit historische landgoed werd in 1997 gekocht door Jean-François en Dominique Quenin. Zij ondernamen grote renovatie- en verbeteringswerken, zowel in de wijngaarden als in de kelders. Deze intensieve inspanningen werden erkend door de promotie van de Cru tot Grand Cru Classé in 2012.
