Diepe, donkere kleur. De neus wordt gekenmerkt door aroma's van zoethout en munt die harmonieus samengaan met toetsen van zwart fruit. In de mond zijn de tannines aanwezig en zijdezacht, wat zorgt voor een fluweelzachte, dichte textuur. De afdronk is aanhoudend, met een lange afdronk die alle dynamiek van de wijn naar voren brengt.

The 2022 Larrivet Haut-Brion offers up aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, raspberry, violet, orange zest, iris and ripe plums, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate that's supple, seamless and elegant, its succulent core of fruit framed by velvety tannins, concluding with a floral finish. A blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc - the most significant portion of this grape variety ever used at this estate run by Bruno Lemoine - this is one of the most interesting wines that this estate has produced in recent years. Le vin est plein de charme et judicieusement extrait. Il se déguste dès à présent avec sa seyante touche boisée.

Château Larrivet Haut-Brion, in de handen van de familie Gervoson in 1987, vindt zijn wijngaard terug in het begin van de eeuw. Het kasteel met zijn park van 13 ha, zijn gebouwen en 42 ha wijngaarden voor de productie, alsook 18 ha die vroeger al werden beplant en die beetje bij beetje opnieuw worden beplant.
